New Beginnings Community Church, SAYAP Africa, Agape, & Redwood City Campus / BE A BLESSING SERVE DAY - Global Outreach Hygiene Drive

  • Sketched a quick supply map that streamlined the flow of volunteers and ensured supplies were located and distributed efficiently.
  • Ensured precise distribution by recording & updating quanties, facilitating the delivery of 1,500 Kits to NBCC, 1,500 to RWC and additional shipments to Africa.

I felt blessed to contribute not only with my hands but also through organization and stewardship, knowing that these simple items will bring dignity and care to families nearby and across the ocean.

City Teams, NBCC, Recovery Cafe, Levantar, Mobilize Love, Social Impact / Be A Blessing Charity Event

  • Contributed to an effort involving 570+ volunteers across 5 Bay Area locations from San Francisco to San Jose, and joined a collective mission that raised $125,000 for 7 community partners, extending care local and globally.
  • Help assemble 1,473 hygiene kits, 100 winter kits, and 106 gift baskets for families and women in need.
  • Served and supported families in the Men's ReNew Program in City Team through prayer and worship.

I signed up to serve on the Prayer Team for the chapel service, and I was redirected to help assemble hygiene kits. I felt reminded that serving God is never about the role itself but the heart behind it. Worship happens not only through words, but through willing hands that serve wherever God places us.

New Beginning Community Church / BE A BLESSING

  • Coordinated Logistics: Assisted loading Sayap Africa donations, ensuring safe, timely transport.
  • Audited inventory: Verified 178 hygiene kits, added missing items, and documented counts.
  • Event Operations: Prepared Communion elements aligned to Sunday service.

Serving alongside a devoted group of women felt like worship - full of encouragement, prayer, and true teamwork. While loading boxes, a neighbor experiencing homelessness stepped in to help. In the simple moment, I sensed God's presence and witness grace being extended to him in opportunites to serve in the future. I left grateful for community and the way God meets us in ordinary tasks.
